The Yankees named CC Sabathia their ALCS MVP. I can’t help but consider this another weird example of how everybody hates Alex Rodriguez.
CC, ALCS: 16 IP, 1.12 ERA, 1 HR, 3 BB, 12 K, 0.750 WHIP
Rodimus, ALCS: 30 PA, 9 H, 2 2B, 3 HR, 1 SB, 8 BB, .429 / .567 / .952 (!!) / 1.519
CC was pretty good, and 16 IP is excellent given how awful the Yankees’ bullpen is, but come on. How good does Roger Alexiguez have to be to get a bit of goddamn recognition? Maybe in the World Series he can hit two home runs every at-bat.
